You want to get outdoors but you have no idea where to begin? Maybe it feels intimidating? Scary? You’re not fit enough? You simply have no idea where to even start? Well, I promise you’re not alone!
I remember feeling exactly the same way and nearly having a panic attack on my first hike alone in the Peak District (ironically on what is no one of my running routes). Most people overestimate the fitness needed and underestimate their current abilities, think they need to own loads of specialised kit, or somehow “know what they’re doing” before they allow themselves to start.
