Summer is here and here are your plans! 😎

Eeeep, I can’t believe we’ve said goodbye to June already and we’re officially into summer! That means great weather and longer evenings making being outdoors the absolute best!!

Looking back, June was a pretty special month. We spent time in Eryri taking on the Welsh 3000s, explored some incredible scrambles on the intro to scrambling weekend, welcomed both familiar and new faces, and I genuinely haven’t laughed so much in a long time. I’ll tell you, laughing so hard you are crying and your body is week is not for the faint of heart on Crib Goch 😂!

So if you joined us this month, a massive thank you for trusting me with your weekends, for embracing the unpredictable weather (because... Wales), and for helping create such a supportive atmosphere on every trip.

Summer is only just getting started, and we’ve got some brilliant adventures still to come. We’re heading back to Eryri to take on the Welsh 3000s again this weekend, and it’s looking like the perfect weekend for it.

What’s Coming Up

One trip I'm especially looking forward to this summer is our Women's Snowdonia Hiking Retreat. It's a chance to slow down for a weekend (and boy do I need it), spend time in the mountains, and switch the usual day-to-day rush for fresh air, good conversation and some pretty incredible views. Whether you come with a friend or on your own (most people do!), it's a lovely opportunity to reconnect with the outdoors, meet like-minded women and enjoy everything that makes time in the mountains so special. If you've been craving a weekend away that leaves you feeling genuinely refreshed, this might be just the thing.

Cressy★★★★★ “What an incredible three days hiking the Welsh 3000s! I honestly couldn't recommend Lucy at Made Wild Adventures highly enough. We successfully summited all 15 peaks and a huge thank you goes to the wonderful Lucy, whose expert guiding, endless enthusiasm, and reassuring support made the whole experience unforgettable. I am pretty scared of heights, but Lucys calm approach, giving the group a good understanding of what to expect and how to take on the challenge of a grade 1 scramble - we all made it across the infamous Crib Goch ridge, loving every second of it!Not only is Lucy an exceptional guide, but her knowledge of the Welsh mountains, local history and her enthusiasm is truly impressive. Rain or shine she kept us positive, fuelled with sweets and she carried the heaviest bag with additional water and all the safety equipment you could imagine! One of the biggest highlights was sharing the journey with other amazing women. We chatted and laughed the entire time, my cheeks hurt from laughing so much!”

Here’s to plenty more adventures in July, sweaty days and much more laughing over the rest of the summer!

Hopefully I’ll see some of you on a trip soon. I’d love to hear if you’ve got any of your own adventures planned!

Lucy 🩵 xx
